would recommend the hotel. we loved how close it is to vrijheidscarillon. good choice for discovering amsterdam.

The views and location were very good for us. We wanted to visit metro de vlugtlaan, set next to the hotel.

Room 145 was a bit too small and close to the heating and ventilation system of the hotel, the loud noise could be heard continuously (bad insulation). Room 147 bigger and a lot quieter.

The room was nice but a bit small
Unfortunately the location is not very nice. The hotel is located in Amsterdam's "Turkish Quarter" and you feel very out of place. Not recommended for female solo travelers. The room could have been cleaner.

It smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the carpet was not vacuumed

Sorry! but i don`t like a hotel. On floors there is a repair of premises. A dust, building garbage. there are two-storeyed beds in the room, but only for 4 persons.

It was good that we only stayed for 2 nights and the wifi was good
The room was dirty and noisy, we could easily hear the oder doors being closed or opened. The staff immediately tried "for their own profit" selling excursions for a more expensive price than we had been offered anywhere in town. The breakfast was cold, poor selections and the coffee machine didn't work proper.

Far from Amsterdam centre, repulsive interior design, staff who try to blackmail you if the smoke alarm goes off, ridiculously priced for what it is.

Room was very clean, brekfast was great. Good bus/tram connections to the city center.
Staff was not very pleasant.
